Refund and Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Navjeevan Sanstha, Nagpur, we deeply appreciate your generosity and trust in supporting our mission to provide shelter, education, and care to underprivileged children and women. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains our practices regarding refunds for online donations made through our website.

Non-Refundable Donations

Donations made to Navjeevan Sanstha are generally non-refundable, as contributions are used directly for charitable programs and activities. Once a donation transaction is successfully processed, the amount is considered a voluntary gift to support our ongoing work and cannot be reversed.

Exceptions for Refunds

We understand exceptional cases may arise. Refund requests may be considered only under the following circumstances:

• Duplicate or erroneous donation transactions
• Technical errors during the online payment process

Refund Request Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the above exceptions, please contact us within 7 days of the donation date:

• Provide the following details in your request :
  • Full name of donor
  • Date and amount of the donation
  • Transaction or payment reference number
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Screenshot or receipt of the donation

Review and Processing

• Each refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Refund approvals are at the sole discretion of Navjeevan Sanstha.
• Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 15 to 30 business days of approval.
• Navjeevan Sanstha shall not be responsible for any transaction fees or bank charges associated with the refund.

Tax Receipts and Refunds

If a tax exemption receipt (under Section 80G or applicable laws) has been issued for the donation, refunds will generally not be processed, as the funds are already utilized in accordance with the law, and tax filings rely on the donated amount.

Donations to Specific Campaigns

Donations designated for a specific campaign or purpose will be directly allocated to that cause and are not eligible for refunds once processed.

Cancellation of Recurring Donations

For recurring donations, you may cancel or modify your donation schedule at any time by:

• Or through your payment provider’s platform, if applicable

Cancelling recurring donations does not automatically entitle you to refunds for prior donations.
